    The Kansas Wetlands Education Center, Nature Conservancy, Kansas Department of Wildlife Parks & Tourism, the City of Great Bend, and Kansas Birding Festival, Inc have organized the 2019 Wings & Wetlands Festival.
    Birdwatch two of the most important wetlands along the Central Flyway-Cheyenne Bottoms and Quivira National Wildlife Refuge-during the peak of Spring shorebird migration in central Kansas May 3-4, 2019 in Great Bend, KS.     I will be there, in fact I have to be there as part of the organizational team. But even if I wasn’t a team member I would attend. It is a really fun weekend, the people attending are wonderful and even though spring migration for shorebirds is not in full swing yet, it should be great by this weekend
